Unfortunately, social media platforms are not always used in the most positive way. However, this week Twitter enforced a new policy that combats abusive and hateful conduct and accounts. . Any tweets that glorify violence or agree with the acts will have their accounts suspended and permanently removed if they violate the policy more than once. However, there is one exception that is raising concern to everyday citizens and that is all government and armed forces are excluded from the policy. Twitter did say they will be reviewing the policies and make adjustments as needed as they implement the new rules.
Swipe Right (Well+Good)
We are big fans of mindfulness and apps to enhance that in our everyday lives. We also wouldn’t mind meeting a nice guy who feels the same - hat’s where MeetMindful comes in. MeetMindful is the first dating app to connect people based on creating healthy happier lives together. The app has had high success rates and great reviews from people who have found themselves more satisfied than previous relationships because MeetMindful focuses on interests like fitness, spirituality, dietary preferences, and more. So forget swiping people based on looks, browse and get to know others who may be just like you.
Sheets Are In (Refinery29)
Dry shampoo sheets have been floating around the beauty world recently and we have the scoop. Carrying around an aerosol can is a little much but greasy roots are also not ok. Cue dry shampoo sheets to absorb as much oil as possible. Easy to bring on the go, perfect for touch-ups, they don’t leave behind residue and did we mention they are TSA approved? Yep, they are the new rage and we’ve already got our hands on some.
